![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:25 |

I get a steady 29.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:26 |
|
Strangely, going on the interstate for short distances drives it down.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:28 |

I usually get around 26-30 city and 40-43 highway.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:31 |

No.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:33 |

I’m having trouble getting any better than 22 on my Accord 2.4.
Traffic in the Silicon Valley is awful.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:34 |

yes
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:36 |

I got about 16.5 in the Audi, 21 in the Bimmer, and I have no idea in the Alfa because the odometer doesn’t work.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:38 |
|
lol, that is like 4mpg better than the very best tanks on either of my cars (STI and RX8).
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:39 |
|
21.5 average MPG, 429 HP, 385 TQs, rich Corinthian leather. Suck it.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:42 |
|
Nah, my Integra gets 30 mpg city. Plus all the electrics work ^_^
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:44 |
|
Psh. I probably get a solid 18.
Lower is better, right? I thought this was golf
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:44 |
|
39mpg UK (32mpg US) in the city with start/stop turned off.
But mines a TSi ACT, so there is that.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:44 |
|
No you still suck it
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:44 |
|
But your clock is really fast though, you should probably correct it.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:45 |

All the electrics work?
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:47 |

32 kilometres per smoked meat sandwich and protein bar, according to lunch today. Biking is great.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:47 |

No! YOU suck it!
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:48 |

NO YOU

This picture is from a couple of nights ago.

I can’t into Protein bars.
Like those Powerbar things that taste like straight protein.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:51 |

Eh, they’re pretty good. The key is to drink a lot of water with them.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:51 |

Is this a truck?
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:51 |
|
No
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:52 |
|
Mine’s exactly half that !
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:52 |
|
For me they’re just too dense.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:52 |
|
Mine used to be half that.
Then I stopped being a baller with two turbos.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:52 |
|
I don’t know, probably not great, but if I wanted to get great gas mileage to save a few bucks I’d buy a Prius and then use the savings to get my head examined.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:53 |
|
NO! YOU!
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:53 |

LIES
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:53 |

Was the A6 that bad ?
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:56 |
|
Is it an old car?
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:57 |
|
Ok fine the speakers don’t work, because the previous owner gave up halfway while intalling an amp. It’s not the cars fault though.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:59 |
|
I’d rather keep driving my old 2.7t A6 that routinely got 12 mpg city than drive a Prius at all.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 20:59 |
|
Nah, I got 12-15 city usually.
And I was fine with it because that car was a fucking champ.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:04 |
|
TT German cars are magical. Until they break.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:09 |
|
It was just the clutch, but I needed a car quickly. So I bought the Jetta.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:16 |
|
Define city
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:17 |
|
Some stop and go, nothing above 25 mph
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:18 |
|
1.4 TSI on the Golf gets me 30 average in the same conditions as you.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:19 |
|
Pretty good!
You tuned it yet?
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:20 |
|
Is it more stop and go or more cruising at 15-20?
I'm asking only because I think real world usage is better than whatever the EPA thinks city means. City traffic can be different everywhere.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:21 |
|
Half and half about.
The EPA ratings are usually a bit off, sometimes manufactures over/undersell the miles per gallon a car can get.
For instance, Hyundai lied about getting 40 mpg at one point.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:23 |
|
Yeah I know, you're getting great mileage for that kind of driving. I get half that!
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:27 |
|
Yeah. It definitely helps to have a spare car
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:47 |
|
My crappy FJ80 falls into the same category and mileage bracket.
![]() 09/12/2016 at 21:56 |
|
Nope, I don’t plan on doing mods tbh. I prefer to save up and buy a GTI or HOPEFULLY an R (if Mexico’s new VW director didn’t lie about it coming here).
![]() 09/12/2016 at 22:01 |
|
I’ve been as high of 6.6L/100km & as low as 8.2L/100km. My Avg is 7.4L/100km, I could get better but the require driving like my mother.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 07:55 |
|
I get about 16 city, which sucks, but 27 highway, which is pretty good for a 6.2L V8.
![]() 09/13/2016 at 08:14 |
|
My renault gets worse economy on the motorway. Its because the gearing is short. 80mph is over 4000rpm...
![]() 09/13/2016 at 11:45 |
|
On long trips on the interstate, I get nearly 35. Short trips, with hills, not so much.
![]() 09/14/2016 at 23:15 |

Same engine, different driver, different VW sedan.
This is stop and go city driving for me with the AC on. Yours is doing really well. I'll admit that I have a relatively heavy right foot, but I average about 24 city if I drive like a regular person.
![]() 09/14/2016 at 23:35 |
|
I got a heavy foot also, but only when I drive auto for some reason haha
